It goes without saying that some of them are deleted (for example, for spam, swearing, suspicious activity, etc.). But there are times when the user himself wants to remove all traces of his presence from VK, including his personal page.
This possibility is provided by the Contact functionality, but there are a number of points that are definitely worth paying attention to and which will be mentioned in this article. It is noteworthy that it is possible to delete even a page to which you have long lost access, as well as a public page on VK that you changed your mind about maintaining and decided to close.
How to delete all deleted VKontakte friends
I will not advertise extensions and third-party programs in this article, since I cannot be completely sure of their reliability. They most likely will not take away your login and password from the social network (of course, this is not a fact), since authorization most often occurs on the VKontakte side. Here I talked about how to see all the dogs on VKontakte. Software developers, based on this information that they receive using the VKontakte API, use the friends.delete method, which they run in a loop with a slight delay, clearing the list of your friends.
However, if you are afraid to use such programs, it is better to delete them the old fashioned way, one user at a time.
How to delete your page in Contact?
Let me make a reservation right away that there are two types of pages on the VKontakte social network:
- Personal, also called “My Page,” where all available information about you is posted, as well as a wall.
- A public (official) page that you can create on VK, for example, to present your business, brand, or simply to maintain a page on a certain topic (humor, fan club, hobby, etc.). Read more about them in the article “What is public”.
It will be possible to delete both types of these pages, but most often it is necessary to delete “My Page” in VK, where personal information, correspondence, etc. is stored. There may be a lot of reasons, but the essence is the same - it is possible to do this, but everything is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. Actually, that’s why this question arises so often among many users of this social network and that’s why this article appeared.
I will immediately describe the official path that the Contact administration offers to those who wish to delete all traces of their presence on this social network. Actually, you still won’t be able to delete all the tracks (although you can cheat), but more on that below.
So, the deletion instructions ask us to go from the left menu to the “My Settings” tab, scroll to the bottom of the page that opens and click on the words “delete your page”.
A form will open where you will be asked to select one of the reasons that prompted you to delete your personal page from VK, or you can write your own version of the explanation. Doesn't matter.
And the important thing is that although the deletion will happen instantly, Contact will keep a copy of the deleted page for about seven months in case you decide to restore the page during this time (in this case, everything will be restored: recordings, videos, audio, and photos , and personal correspondence stored in your account). Those. In essence, this is not a deletion, but a temporary suspension of access to the page.
True, if during this time you do not press the “Restore” button (it will appear every time you log into Contact with the login and password from the deleted account), then your data stored on “My Page” will be permanently deleted (probably all but not completely removed, because once you are exposed, consider that you are hooked, but removed from public access).
Please note that you only delete posts (and media files) on your own VKontakte page. But all posts, comments, likes and other traces of activity left by you on other VK pages will be saved. And your first and last name will still appear there.
Unfortunately, there is no way to delete posts from other people’s pages (they will remain there forever). But before deleting your page, you can make a trick with your ears - replace your real name with a fake one (made up). This will be easy to do in the “My Page” editing window. And after that, you can begin the official account deletion procedure described above.
Also note that your phone number linked to the deleted VK page will still remain in the database of this social network. To avoid this, link it to a newly created account (if you still plan to continue hanging out on this social network). In a couple of weeks, he will unlink himself from the old page and it can be submitted for deletion.
There is also an unofficial way to delete your page from VKontakte. It is notable for the fact that the process itself takes not seven months, but only about two, but there is no exact guarantee that by following the instructions described below you will achieve the desired result (the internal kitchen of VK is constantly undergoing changes and some cartoons may no longer work).
To do this, simply go to the VK privacy settings page and close yourself off from the outside world as much as possible, choosing items like “Only me” or “No one” from the list of possible options wherever possible. After this, access to your page will be as limited as possible for everyone except you. And if you don’t log into your account for a couple of months, then there is a high probability that such a page will be taken and automatically deleted (which is what we need).
How to quickly delete all friends on VK
If you need to remove all friends or a selection based on certain parameters by which you can filter the list of friends from the full version of the site, you can use the script.
Go to the list of friends (filter it as you need or leave it as is). Open developer mode (press f12) and select the console. Insert the script.

How to delete a public page (public) in Contact?
Everything here is a little trickier, but essentially nothing complicated either - you just need to know the sequence of steps. It is not possible to directly delete a group or public from VK (in the manner of “My Page”), but it will be possible to make a trick with your ears, which is nevertheless offered as a recipe and in the official instructions for using this social network.
- So, first, we will need to delete all subscribers of the public, as well as all posts and media files - in general, delete all information.
- Then the public (public page) will have to be converted into a group. This can be done without any problems if you have no more than ten thousand subscribers (hardly anyone in their right mind would dare to delete a public page from Contact with this or more traffic). To do this, you will need to click on the “Transfer to group” button, which you can easily find in the right column on your public page.
- Because Our public page has now become a group, it’s time to make it private. After this, all you have to do is leave this community yourself (where all the participants except you have already been deleted in the first step described above). To do this, click on the “You are in a group” > “Leave group” buttons.
- After some time, the essentially empty group will be deleted by Contact moderators (or automatically). True, this will not happen instantly, but without participants it will not be possible to notice its existence. Whether she exists or not, no one will ever find or notice her.
Via computer
There are 2 ways to get rid of a person through the web version of the site. In the first case, you will need to visit your friend's profile. In the second, you can remove a person without visiting someone else’s page and without appearing on the list of guests.
From a friend's page
Log into your account on ok.ru, then go to the list of comrades. Find the person you want to remove.
While on the user’s page, open the menu (the button in the form of an ellipsis) and click “Remove from friends.”
After you click the “Stop” button in the warning window, a corresponding notification will appear.
If you are only annoyed by a friend's posts in your news feed, you can unsubscribe from them without ending your friendship.
The only disadvantage of the method described above is that you will appear on your friend’s list of guests. He may notice this and go to your page, after which he will definitely understand that you are no longer friends with him.
Without visiting a friend's page
If you want to break the connection completely unnoticed, then it is better not to go to the user’s page, but to get rid of the unpleasant person directly from your friend list.
Go to the list of friends and hover your mouse over the name or photo of the person with whom you want to break off friendship. In the menu that appears, select “End friendship”.
In the warning window, click “Stop.” After this, a notification will appear indicating that the friend has been deleted.
The second method seems more convenient to me. In addition, it will allow you to quickly remove several people if necessary.
From your phone or tablet
You can get rid of a friend without going to his page only through a computer in the full version of ok.ru. Neither the smartphone app nor the mobile version of the site has this option. If it is important for you to remain incognito, use a PC or enable the stealth function.
Via the app
Open the OK application. Go to the main menu and select the “Friends” section.
Go to the profile of the friend you want to get rid of. If you have a lot of friends, use the search by first and last name. Tap on the “Other actions” button.
In the menu that opens, click on “More”.
Click “Remove from friends.”
Confirm your actions by clicking the appropriate button in the window that appears. After this, you will see a message stating that the user has been removed from the friend list.
Via the mobile version of the site
Log in to Odnoklassniki from a smartphone or tablet (you can also use the mobile version of the m.ok.ru website on your computer). Open the page with the list of friends using the quick access button or through the “Friends” item.
Go to the user you want to get rid of. Under the main photo there is a gray button with a checkmark and the inscription “Friends,” which indicates that the person is on your friend list. Click on it and in the window that opens, select “Remove from friends.”
You will not see any confirmation notification and will simply be redirected to the main web page of the site. Now all publications of your former friend will disappear from the news feed.
