There are 2 ways: either you type the name of the artist in the search bar, and then listen to each song in the results displayed, or, along with the name of the artist, you also type a line from the song you want to find. The second method is faster in time than the first. This is due to the fact that some VKontakte users, when uploading music, add not only the name of the song in the description, but also the beginning of a verse or chorus.
What about foreign songs and performers?
In this case, it is enough to “run” the name of the song or artist in Cyrillic, that is, in Russian letters. The result is guaranteed if the artist or song is at least more or less popular.
What if I don't know the artist or the title of the song?
Such situations also happen, and they are often associated with music from advertising, TV series, etc. In this case, a music search engine (search bar) will help you find phrases such as “music from advertising,” “music from a film,” etc. In addition, there are various groups and public pages on VKontakte, the content of which is based on this kind of music - you can try to find it there, but it takes more time.
Once you have found a suitable song, click on the blue icon next to the artist’s name and enjoy! To avoid losing a song, it is advisable to add it; this can be done by clicking the plus sign next to the song name. Friends updates – a section showing which songs and artists your friends have added to their audio recordings.
Popular - a section compiled on the basis of the musical preferences of all VKontakte users, that is, what is most listened to and popular.
