Friend Request: Be Careful Who You Add

Now almost all Internet users have accounts on Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Instagram, VKontakte. Social networks are evolving, constantly offering the latest services and functions. But the “add as friends” option was there initially.

In principle, social platforms were created precisely for the purpose of communicating between people at a distance.

Laura Woodson's new friend

So Laura Woodson is a pretty popular girl. She studies at university, she has many friends in real life, and even more on social networks. And then a strange girl appears in her group. Very modest and unsociable, dressed in black and with a permanent hood on her head.

It is worth saying that Laura, despite her popularity, is a very kind and sympathetic person. Therefore, she decides to make friends with a new acquaintance after she asked to be her friend on social networks. By the way, the girl’s account is pristine in terms of friends.

There are only numerous and somewhat frightening pictures. It all started with this friend request. Marina Mills turned out to be too persistent, annoying and intrusive young lady. She began to literally stalk Laura, and she was no longer happy that she responded to her message.

Where to look for people

  • The “Friends” tab displays a list of people who accepted the application. Nearby you can see the “possible friends” block. Open it completely. The social network recommends hundreds of names every day.

You can quickly submit an application on the offers page or from the profile of the person you are interested in.

  • Enter your friend's name in the search box. Fill in additional information: city, education, marital status - this reduces the search to just a few names.

You can send a request either on the search page or by going to your profile.

  • Groups, publics, friends of friends. Look for people who are subscribed to communities you are interested in or are on your friends lists. Go to them and leave a friend request.

Party and suicide

At this time, Laura is just celebrating her birthday with close friends. Naturally, she is not at all going to invite an unfamiliar girl to her holiday. But pictures from the party go online and Marina sees them, although Laura literally an hour ago assured her that she would celebrate the holiday only with her boyfriend.

The next day, Marina makes a real scene for Laura, accusing her of lies and betrayal. In a fight that Marina herself started, Laura accidentally rips off her hood and it turns out that the girl is missing part of her hair. The sight is not pleasant and Laura blames herself for incontinence, but in the evening she decides to remove her from her friends.

The weekend passes quietly, and on Monday the students are told that Marina has committed suicide. This is where the fun begins. It turns out that Marina’s body was not found, and information about her seemed to be erased from the university database. But on the same day, Laura receives a video message from her failed friend, which captures the moment of her death. And this video spontaneously appears in the public domain.

How to view outgoing friend requests in VK

Outgoing friend requests are requests that the page owner sends to other users of the social network. The status shows that people have not yet accepted the friend request. The limit for outgoing applications is 50 people. If desired, the page owner can cancel sent offers to other users. There are several ways to check outgoing requests.

Through the VKontakte mobile application in new and old versions

In the new version:

  1. Open the “Friends” tab.

  2. Scroll through the page and select “Lists” – “Sent applications”.

In the old version.

The official application is similar in functionality to the mobile version of the site. Outgoing requests in the VK program from your phone can be viewed as follows.

  1. Open your page in the application;
  2. Select the section with friends. It is located under the profile photo;

  3. Click on the “Friends” button. It is at the top;
  4. From the proposed list, select the “Application” item;

  5. Click on the “Outbox” section.

In the mobile application, as in the full version of VK, information is updated slowly. Therefore, data about submitted requests may not be displayed immediately. If problems occur with the application, it is recommended to check your Internet connection or restart the program.

From computer

The first way to view your VK friendship offers is using a computer:

  1. In the menu on the left, open the item “Friends”;
  2. Find the “Friend Requests” item on the right;

  3. Open the list of outgoing requests.

You can get on the list not only on your own initiative.

If a user removes a person from friends, the profile is automatically sent to the “Outgoing Requests” section.

In this case, the sent request can be cancelled.

In the mobile version of the site

The mobile version of VK differs in many ways from the full version of the site. In VK you can view outgoing friend requests as follows:

  1. Go to the menu located in the upper right corner;
  2. Open the “Friends” section;

  3. Select “Outgoing orders” from the drop-down menu.

If this section is not present, it means that submitted requests were rejected by users.

Strange video and unreal code

The first unusual bell is a recording that came out spontaneously. Laura is a normal person and she had no intention of posting the suicide video for everyone to see. Secondly, no one knows how to delete this video, and especially no one sees the account of the deceased girl.

The second bell is a code that not only looks different, it is completely unrealistic and impossible. After Gustavo’s death, another video appeared on Laura’s page, which she again did not post. And then another friend of the girl, Kobi, dug up information about witches. That's it, twenty-first century and witches. But I will return to this a little later.

Who is Marina?

Based on photographs and information on the Internet, Kobi manages to unearth that Marina Nedifar (this is her real name) grew up in an orphanage. Nothing is known about her parents, only later is it possible to establish that Marina’s mother was a member of some sect. Twenty years ago, sectarians died in a fire.

But what’s interesting is that the woman was pregnant and her life was artificially supported until Marina herself was born. It is not surprising that since childhood the girl was very strange. She preferred to be alone and was interested in computers. Only she didn’t wander around the sites, but stared blankly at herself in the dark monitor. The other children were afraid of her and, as always, terrorized her.

Cult and black ritual of self-immolation

Kobe also found that there is a special "Black Mirror" cult, in which the mirror is the main tool for performing occult rituals. It is believed that if you look into a black mirror for a long time, you can see the future, spirits and other things.

And sometimes the black mirror was used in a ritual that allowed the witch to take revenge on others. To do this, the witch had to burn herself in front of such a mirror. Needless to say, Marina used the monitor of a non-working computer for her ritual. And through magic, directed or not, the recording began to spread online.

Behavior of others

Laura’s friends reacted to the events in a very non-trivial way. Everyone took it differently. For example, after Gustavo’s death, his girlfriend Isabel began to hate her best friend. Olivia was not so categorical until Isabel herself died. Then she quickly turned off the computer and got ready to go home. But the witchcraft had already been launched and the disabled computer did not play a role.

As for the two guys, Laura’s lover really wanted to save the girl and her friends. Despite some caution in his actions, he rushed to save her. But Kobe, who apparently was secretly in love with Laura, behaved differently. finding out what. Or rather, who is the cause of all the troubles, he simply tried to kill Laura.

The ending of this story is quite strange. Laura herself suddenly became such an outcast. As Marina once was. Now she can experience in her own skin what it’s like to be a loner. But unlike her friend in misfortune, she does not have such knowledge and abilities. Or does it still exist? It is possible that the dark gift passed to her from Marina. But these are rather my personal conjectures and assumptions...

Too unnatural...

Alicia's Laura Woodson seemed a bit uptight to me. It seemed like she was crying and showing emotions, and everything seemed to be quite natural. I just think that the actress herself is not too emotional. in the role of Lexa in “The 100,” because there she was almost stone-faced; her role required her to hide her emotions.

But something strange happened here, and the stony face, combined with the tears, looked not only false, but somehow... inappropriate, or something. When the heroine was completely serious and did not try to squeeze out tears, it was a completely different matter.

Perhaps if she tried less to be emotional, it would be much better. In this regard, I liked her role more in the film The Hand of the Devil . There such behavior was completely appropriate. The heroine perceived the events completely calmly, as she was supposed to.

A new type of witchcraft?

In general, I don’t know what the meaning of the film was intended by its creators and how it relates to the modern craze for social networks, and I’m not interested in it. I was struck by something completely different, namely the possibility of witchcraft using a computer.

Impossible? I am not sure. We have no idea how all these numbers in the code work and how exactly data is transmitted on the World Wide Web. Satellites, wires, cables, signals, all these are just words. In fact, the computer also runs on energy, and it is this substance that is the basis of any witchcraft effect.

If a knowledgeable person knows how to influence the material world, what are some numbers and codes for him. Therefore, everything is quite possible, which means that the Internet is just another way to use magic. With this I conclude my review and wish everyone a pleasant viewing and your own interesting thoughts.

What is networking

Speaking about “networking”, let us clarify that this word is derived from the English networking, which literally means “weaving a network”, more precisely,

networking = net (network) + work (work).

Networking is understood as activity aimed at solving personal, professional and life problems with the help of a community of friends, for example, such as finding a job, getting a child swimming lessons or playing chess, finding employees, etc. At the same time, one of the main principles of networking is the creation of human, long-term relationships and mutual assistance.

Networking on social networks has some peculiarities. And if you want to make connections in the global network more effectively, follow the tips below.
