Now let's click on the “My News” button in the left menu.
If you don’t have this item in your menu, then click “My Settings”, check the boxes on the links that you need, and they will immediately appear in the left menu!

As you can see, there are three tabs at the top: “News”, “Answers” and “Photos”, but the latter may change, I’ll tell you why later.

This tab displays posts that are published specifically on walls, i.e. when one of your friends or in the community you are subscribed to updates their wall, it will be displayed on this tab.
In my case, you can see that new pictures have appeared on the walls of three different groups. And since updates happen quite often, there is always something to read and see. But not all records are interesting; we’ll also talk about how to get rid of them.

In the upper right corner there is a “News Search” button; by clicking on it, you can enter any words to be searched.
Just below is a field for entering your news, it is the same as on the wall of your main page, and performs the same functions, everything you write here will appear on your wall and, accordingly, in your friends’ news.
You can attach photographs, graffiti, videos, etc. to the entry.
Next are two more buttons where you can choose to view all news or only the most interesting ones.
To be honest, I don’t know by what social criteria. the network selects the most interesting news, but in my opinion this function does not really work yet, since when I go to interesting news, on the contrary, I don’t find anything interesting there, so I don’t use it.

News in contact: filtering
A little to the right is the “Edit” button, which is what allows you to clear your news in contact.
It happens that among your friends there is a person who is needed to maintain contact and communication, but who publishes on his wall all sorts of nonsense that is not interesting to you.
Or you joined some group that is basically interesting and you don’t want to leave it, but it tormented you with its spam.
