Some people love VKontakte for the wide range of opportunities that the platform provides, and so on. If people on social networks are different from each other, then popular personalities there are also different. Or not?

We showed you the TOP 10 Russian-language accounts on Instagram, and the TOP 10 channels on Youtube too. Now it’s time to look at who has the most subscribers on the domestic VKontakte. It must be said that in general, users there are less willing to subscribe to celebrities than on other platforms. 21.23, Moscow Tochka Views The other day, all of Russia and the whole world were struck by the unexpected resignation of the Russian government, as well as the fact that Dmitry Medvedev will no longer head the government of the Russian Federation. Many in Russia and abroad are asking questions about what caused the resignation of Dmitry Medvedev, and whether he knew about it in advance? The publication Tochka Vision, based on known facts and analysis, will try to answer these questions.

1

The resignation of the Russian government came as a complete surprise not only to Russia, but also shocked the whole world. The Western press was completely confused by this decision of Vladimir Putin. The US State Department was also confused. Almost all the world's leading publications have written about this news these days. Indeed, with this resignation, given the speed with which events developed, a number of important questions arise. The answers to the questions of whether Medvedev knew about his impending resignation, as well as why he was dismissed, are known, they exist. The answer to this question sounds like this - Medvedev knew that he would resign, but did not know that it would take place at the very moment when it took place. In order to understand whether this is true or not, it is necessary to find out the true reason for the resignation of Dmitry Medvedev from the post of prime minister. According to the official version, voiced by experts and political scientists, Medvedev’s resignation is due to the improper implementation by the government and Medvedev personally of the national projects that were determined by Vladimir Putin. But this reason is absolutely false. National projects are such a thing that it is impossible to complete them in a short time and complete them, and even without mistakes. These are fundamental topics. Of course, the government needs to implement national projects, but this is a long and difficult task. One of the main reasons for the resignation of Dmitry Medvedev, according to the publication Tochka Zreniya, is the latest shocking scandal with the Medvedev government’s manipulations with increasing pensions (Putin’s proposal to enshrine the indexation of pensions in the constitution, in the message to the Federal Assembly, which preceded Medvedev’s resignation - this is all in the same place, "to the House of Culture"). Let's remember this scandal. Vladimir Putin ordered an increase in pensions for about a year. The government led by Medvedev did this and reported. And then it suddenly turned out that the government raised pensions, as the president ordered, but only raised them to the subsistence level. Those. raised selectively, for those whose pension did not reach the subsistence level, and at the same time deprived these pensioners of the allowance from the state, which is due to those whose pension is below the subsistence level. In reality, in fact, there was no increase in pensions everywhere, as Putin ordered, although money from the budget, billions, was allocated for this. Then Putin personally intervened in the situation, ordering to raise pensions above the subsistence level, as he initially ordered, and without depriving pensioners of the bonus. Such a scandal, even a crime, open manipulation by the government of Dmitry Medvedev means immediate resignation. However, then Medvedev’s resignation did not follow. It didn’t follow because people like Medvedev cannot simply be dismissed. Too many things are intertwined. As a rule, in such cases, people are sent to an honorary promotion, which is what happened in this case. Putin appointed Dmitry Medvedev as deputy head of the Russian Security Council, creating this position specifically for this purpose, which did not exist in nature before and which is absolutely useless and nominal. This is an honorary promotion. Such an increase has long been known to everyone, in politics and big business. This is exactly what they do when a person needs to be removed, but it is absolutely impossible to fire him, so they fire him, sending him for a special promotion. Therefore, of course, Medvedev understood that after that scandal with his cabinet’s manipulation of pension indexations, he was facing resignation, but he did not know that it would happen on January 15th. Another real reason for Medvedev’s resignation is that in recent years, Dmitry Medvedev has become one of the most unpopular statesmen in Russia. The public demand for his personal resignation was very high. Especially among pensioners, with whom the Medvedev government has more than once carried out such manipulations as with pensions. The fact that Medvedev did not know that on January 15 he would resign for good is evidenced by the fact that Putin received Alexei Kudrin in the Kremlin, exactly one day before his address to the Federal Assembly. Kudrin and Medvedev have long-standing disagreements specifically on economic issues. It was because of these disagreements that Alexei Kudrin left the Medvedev government in the past. And it is significant that Putin received Kudrin literally on the eve of Medvedev’s resignation. In addition, Mikhail Mishustin, a longtime protégé of Kudrin, whom Alexei Kudrin recommended for the post of head of the Federal Tax Service 10 years ago, was appointed to the post of prime minister. It is obvious that now that Medvedev has been sent to the post of deputy head of the Security Council, Alexei Kudrin will return to the government as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. It is obvious that they will begin to restore order in this area, which is precisely why Putin proposed enshrining in the constitution both the indexation of pensions and the cost of living and the minimum wage. All these factors, for the government, were eternal sources of manipulation. After changes to the constitution, not a single follower of Medvedev will be able to do this anymore. photo: photo archive TZ text: Alexander Tochka Publication Tochka Zreniya

Give me back my 2007

Many no longer remember that the hellish attacks of nostalgia for 2007 began precisely with the speech of Dmitry Medvedev in 2011, who said that nothing could be returned.

All I can tell you is that no one will ever go back to 2007 because it's 2011. And we are all different Dmitry Medvedev

Thanks to Medvedev, everyone rushed to remember the times before the 2008 crisis: ICQ, push-button phones, memes about Chuck Norris, emo and other informals. If you now urgently need to return to 2007, we have a test on this topic.

Medvedev in the rain

The most recent meme with Medvedev appeared in May 2021. The Prime Minister, together with President Vladimir Putin, went to lay flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow. It began to rain heavily and, despite the guard with an umbrella, Putin and Medvedev got wet.

Dmitry Medvedev memes

The enchanting expression on Medvedev’s face, which mixed everything from anger to fortitude, could not help but please netizens. Dmitry Medvedev in the rain also became a meme.

With a blog

View photo report by Konstantin Zavrazhin

President Dmitry Medvedev continues to meet with his supporters. Yesterday he talked to those who are as active on the Internet as he is - bloggers. With them, the head of state opened his official page on the VKontakte social network.

For several years now, the president has been blogging on LiveJournal, which has an audience of about 18 thousand users, and in June 2010 he started his own microblog during a visit to the Twitter headquarters in Silicon Valley in the United States. Recently, the president opened an account on another popular international resource - Facebook, and today it is read by more than 300 thousand people.

Among the bloggers who came to talk with the president, there were many young people, and Dmitry Medvedev largely addressed his words to them, having previously thanked them for their support. “It’s nice to look at those who are interested in politics and do not reject all the ideas of power out of hand, so thank you,” the head of state addressed the audience.

Since all those gathered are modern people, which Dmitry Medvedev did not allow himself to doubt, the authorities are obliged to follow their example and also be modern. And for this she needs to have supporters in online communities. Otherwise, a gap may form between the authorities and citizens. What is valuable, according to the president, is that the information on the Internet is unretouched, not turned into reports or digests, which are often formed in accordance with the course of certain people. “For me, the Internet is interesting because I receive information without a filter,” Medvedev emphasized. And even after he leaves the main government post of the country, while remaining in power, he will still use the Internet and expand his presence there. To prove his interest in the Network, Dmitry Medvedev opened his official page on VKontakte in front of all participants.

Then the president suggested moving on to communication and talking about everything interesting, not just about the Internet. Activist of the Stopham project Oksana Mitrofanova proved her activity not only with a lively and loud voice, but also with no less loud phrases that appealed to female beauty. “The most loyal electorate is the female one! And the most beautiful one too! Let's organize such a meeting with the fair half of our Russia! - she turned to Medvedev. “I’m sure there are many worthy girls who have something to tell you!” The head of state liked this idea, and he smiled and promised to think about it. “Can I kiss you?” — another Internet activist from the president’s fan club “Medvedev girls,” Evgeniy Aleshin, timidly asked the president. Medvedev could not refuse, and the kiss on the cheek took place. Taking advantage of the opportunity, several more girls from that fan club approached the president - and they also did not leave without a kiss. “If you received kisses, you can go home,” the president said.

But it was too early to go home - Medvedev had a long conversation with other bloggers, sometimes funny, sometimes serious. First of all, he decided not to ignore the “Stopham” project, which fights traffic rule violators, and jokingly promised to complain about the “hero” of one of the videos to the head of the FSB, Alexander Bortnikov. “I have a meeting with him in just an hour,” he smiled. In general, the president believes that posting various videos on the Internet demonstrating offenses will help combat them. And this, in his opinion, is one of the health-improving functions of the Network.

By the way, Medvedev himself closely monitors the situation on the roads - when he “drives quietly.” “Where am I going? I won’t tell you otherwise you won’t be able to pass quietly,” the president replied to one of the bloggers. He invited the head of state to take a ride together to assess the capital’s traffic problems. “Maybe we’ll meet Sobyanin on the way,” Medvedev immediately responded.

The issue of amending the Civil Code - in those aspects that relate to prohibitions on photo and video recording of government officials, as well as the “excessive tutelage” of photographers from various kinds of structures - added fuel to the fire of the still casual discussion. “A person who is involved in politics, an official, must be prepared for public attention and not twitch,” Medvedev believes. — But if we talk about adjusting legislation, especially the Civil Code, then this can only be done after thoroughly weighing everything. I will give instructions to analyze the issue.”

At a meeting with bloggers, who, of course, are among the first to learn about fresh ideas from power, the question of the Big Government website could not help but be raised. “Perhaps, as part of Big Government, on its website, we should discuss different social ideas, especially those that gain the most attention. And I am ready to give formal instructions to the government and everyone else regarding them,” the head of state assured. And he asked everyone to whom the idea of Big Government seems not senseless, but still interesting, to immediately register there. And as a fresh idea, Dmitry Medvedev proposed that Big Government develop a legal form obliging officials to consider requests received via the Internet.

As it turns out, bloggers are also actively interested in what is happening abroad. One of them affected the verdict handed down by a court in Tajikistan to the pilots of a Russian airline. Dmitry Medvedev believes that this verdict raises a large number of questions. The head of state intends to wait for an official response from the Tajik authorities, after which Moscow will take retaliatory actions, which “may be symmetrical, or may be asymmetrical.” According to Medvedev, he has already instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry and law enforcement agencies to thoroughly understand the circumstances of this case and make contact with their colleagues in Tajikistan. Continuing the judicial theme, the president promised one of the meeting participants that he would order a return to studying all the circumstances of the case of officer Sergei Arakcheev, convicted of murder in Chechnya. “I will give instructions to return to this issue, but I cannot anticipate any court decisions,” Dmitry Medvedev said.

After an excursion into serious problems, the bloggers again turned the conversation into a fun direction. One of the meeting participants, the author of the educational Internet comic “Lessons of WarCraft”, a guide to the famous computer game, in which the President and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin himself appears as the heroes, showed his “brainchild” to Medvedev. Tom liked the comic. “I’ll show it to my colleague – will he like it?” - he commented, referring to the head of government.

Perhaps the result of this long conversation can be considered the president’s conclusion that the use of digital technologies in the political process will not be widespread in the near future. However, the onset of the future cannot be stopped anyway - and therefore the “era of digital democracy” is coming, perhaps in 20-30 years. “Of course, there are issues on which we definitely need to get the country’s point of view. And if you use digital technology, this can be done quickly, inexpensively and demonstratively. Maybe in 20-30 years we will really return to the era of direct democracy using a digital resource, when each person will have his own digital key or some kind of index that will allow him to directly participate in government,” says Dmitry Medvedev.

Yesterday, Dmitry Medvedev met with FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov and announced that he had signed amendments to the law on combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism. These amendments, in essence, change the procedure for internal control of such funds, and also clarify the responsibilities of organizations that are involved in accounting for such transactions to provide information. Bortnikov, for his part, expressed confidence that this would increase the effectiveness of the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. “According to our assessment, these new norms will allow authorized bodies, the law enforcement system, and special services to more effectively combat corruption and the financing of terrorism,” he said.

By the way

State Duma deputies do not rule out that Dmitry Medvedev will read out his Address to the Federal Assembly on November 23, as RIA Novosti reported yesterday. The draft resolution on postponing the plenary session from November 23 to 24 is also posted on the official website of the State Duma. Meanwhile, a source in the Kremlin told RIA Novosti that there is no exact date for the announcement of the Message yet. Earlier, the head of the presidential administration, Sergei Naryshkin, said that work on the Address could be completed by the end of November.

Dmitry Medvedev recognized his VKontakte page as official

Yesterday, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, at a meeting with Internet activists, officially opened his own page on the largest Russian social network “VKontakte”. In October, Medvedev opened a page on the American social network Facebook. At the same time, the head of VKontakte, Pavel Durov, expressed regret about this. At the same time, Medvedev’s page on Durov’s social network has been working for a long time - it already has 800 thousand subscribers. But only today it was declared official. And they gave a short name of two letters: vkontakte.ru/dm - ordinary VKontakte users cannot get a page name shorter than five characters.

The head of the largest Russian social network, Pavel Durov, did not react to Medvedev’s appearance on Facebook in the most pleasant way: “@MedvedevRussia Your patriotism inspires the Russian Internet industry.” On October 5, he urged Medvedev to go to Contact: “@MedvedevRussia By the way, on one Russian social network you would have at least 10 times more subscribers.” Some bloggers on this occasion decided that Durov could make himself another enemy, besides the employees of Mail.ru, whose employees he had previously shown indecent gestures and called corrupt officials.

Medvedev’s subordinates thought about creating an account in the world’s most populous network last spring, Marker reported in April 2010. At a meeting with his supporters on October 15, Medvedev said: “You know, I am a big fan of various types of communications, social networks, the Internet.” In October, the Russian President came to Facebook.

According to Marker’s source, the president’s blog on LiveJournal is currently moderated by 10 people. He writes MedvedevRussia on his personal Twitter, and the official KremlinRussia and KremlinRussia_e are supported by the editors of the Kremlin.ru portal, which is about 10 more people. They will also maintain the page on Facebook, while the head of state will still have access to managing the page.

“I decided to also write on Facebook. Read!” - President Dmitry Medvedev announced on his Twitter about the opening of a page on the American social network Facebook. He did not report his appearance on VKontakte on other social networks. As the presidential administration told Marker, the page has been working for a long time. The page already has 800 thousand subscribers. Some of the photographs on it are dated 2009. But only today Medvedev recognized it as official - now it will support constant activity.

According to presidential press secretary Natalya Timakova, Medvedev’s expanding presence on social media is due to his desire to improve feedback from citizens.

On the social networks Odnoklassniki and Moi Mir refused to comment on whether they want Medvedev to open an account on their networks.
